Kindergarten Program

The Kindergarten teachers put together the cutest program I've ever seen! Plus these women were brave enough to have the kids tie dye their own shirts. Hailey made a beautiful flower, which is what she plays in the program.

Easter Sunday

We got together with Deb and her family for our dinner and our annual egg hunt. This was the only moment all seven kids were holding still!

Alisa, Julie and Megan. Notice Julie and Megan no longer have braces? They got them off 4 days ago!

Hailey found the coveted "Golden Egg". It's filled with money and highly sought after.
It's impossible to get good photos of an Easter egg hunt, except of Kyra. Every time you called her name, she would stop and pose for a photo.

Living Planet Aquarium

While on spring break we took a trip to Living Planet Aquarium. Josh loves this place! He loves petting the sting rays and getting to touch other animals in the Bio Zone.

Hailey liked the coral reef tank.

Hailey is just barely taller than an emperor penguin. This was our first trip to the aquarium since they opened the penguin exhibit. It's a lot of fun watching them during feeding time.

More of Arches

Near Sand Dune Arch. The kids loved this short hike because of the sand. Little did they realize how much sand they brought back to the car in their shoes!
Because Hailey is fearless (and not so obedient) we opted not to hike up to Delicate Arch (seen in the distance). May be next time we'll be up for the three hour hike.
We loved the view from under Broken Arch.
Landscape Arch was by far our favorite. It was worth the longer hike and the complaints from the kids.

Arches National Park

We definitely have been in need of a break, so with a week off for spring break, we made a quick trip to Arches National Park. We haven't been since Megan and Julie were really little. It's a lot more fun with kids who are willing to hike.
Balanced Rock is in the distance.
Hailey was fearless. She often led the group, had no fear of heights and frequently stopped and would pose for a picture.
We're just under the North Window Arch.

Freezer Jam

Since we're on spring break for the next week, I taught Megan how to make freezer jam. Since she's the only kid at our house that loves peanut butter and jam sandwiches, it seemed only fair that she do some of the work.
