Firestation Trip

I took Josh and Hailey to the new fire station by our neighborhood today. Hailey's afraid of sirens, so when a field trip opportunity came up we had to go! For the last few weeks Hailey's been trying to convince herself that the sirens mean they are trying to help someone. Before that, she thought the sirens meant her house was on fire. Hopefully today's trip helped! Josh and Hailey got to walk through the ambulance, sit in the driver's seat of the fire truck, see a firefighter will all his gear on, and see where the firefighters spend their time waiting to help someone. Josh was really excited. It looks like we're going to be having fire drills at our house this week!
