This year's family reunion celebrated the 100 years since my grandparents Leslie LaMar and Esther Laney Weight were married. It was a special day with lots of family. My grandparents have 214 descendants in the "Circle of Love" and that number will continue to grow as families grow.

My favorite memories of the ranch were riding on the different gates every time we had to open one. All of the kids would pile out of the car at each gate. Of course, on Hatred Hill you might have to walk up the hill after opening and closing the gate, since most cars needed the momentum to get up the hill.
