Start your engines!

Josh's school held their first annual car party for the first graders today. Each student was asked to build and bring a cardboard "car" for the day's events. This is Josh's completed car. It's quite the project to do at the end of the school year, and I'm not sure what the educational value was, but Josh loved it!

Building a "car" ended up being a family homework assignment. It took three of us several hours to get everything done on the car. Josh won the prize for the "shiniest car". Unfortunately, Josh's Popsicle dripped all over his car, so we won't be able to save it for Hailey to use when she's in first grade!
